At 19:30 CEST one of the feeds located at the Globalswitch Amsterdam datacenter (GSA) shutdown because of a blown fuse, the reason was a defective router power module.

Because of the feed outage the amplifier going from GSA to Databarn Capelle (DBC) lost one of it power supplies, the device is connected redundantly but the backup power supply made the amplifier stop accepting signals.

We immediately discussed this with the vendor of the Amplifier and after a short debug where asked to proceed with the restart of the complete amplifier after which the connection came back online.

We will be discussing this further with the vendor.
