There is a transatlantic fiber cut which started on the 19th of november. NFOrce is not directly affected however transit providers do seem to have capacity issues between EU and US.

The repair ship has located the submarine cable and have begun testing to isolate the location of the break on the fibre. There is no ETR at this time.

COTDR testing of the initial splice from the Dublin terminal was completed in the last hour. The final splice will commence shortly after the aforementioned testing. The cable repair ship will now retrieve the buoy off side of the cable facing Southport and bring on board in order to begin the final splice process. Testing from both terminal sites will be carried out following the final splice completion notice from the cable repair ship.

Repair ship stuck in bad weather, work on hold until further notice.

The outage impacting part of our transatlantic links has been finally resolved this morning, and cabel repaired is again on the seabed. You should not experience further issues due to this. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
