Wave service provider which connects Globalswitch Amsterdam towards the FranceIX peering exchange in Paris is having an outage.

Their outage reason was "Major Incident on Transmission Platform. Incident Type Fibre Break Interoute in Belgium".

All FranceIX traffic is automatically rerouted over other peerings and transits.

For transparancy purposes we decided to publish notification.

Engineers have repaired the fiber break in Belgium after which the connection came back online.
